A Creative Summer Gathering for Poets, Creative Writers and Lovers of Language
17th - 23rd August, 2008
at Emerson College in Sussex
Workshop Leaders this year are Roselle Angwin, Mimi Khalvati, Janis Mackay and Hugo Williams For details of the week, press here.
Poetry OtherWise seeks to attract a diverse group of people who are, or wish to be, passionately involved with the creation and nurturing of living language.
The week is open to beginners and experienced writers alike. We actively encourage participants to share their own writing in large or small settings, including one evening to be shaped by those who attend the week. We seek to foster awareness in the art of speaking poetry. The word 'poetry' in our title should be taken to include all uses of imaginative language.
